Booking your Wedding
To book your wedding, a retainer of 1/3 of the contract amount is due at the time of the contract signing to hold your date. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the wedding, and payment plans are available if needed.

Engagement Session
Aside from providing you with beautiful, emotional portraits in a casual setting, engagement sessions allow us to get to know each other before the big day. Knowing what to expect from your photographer and feeling relaxed in front of the camera is critical for photographic success. During the engagement session, we love to work with you to find the styles, smiles, angles and poses that work best for you as a couple. That way, when your wedding day comes around, we’ll have already practiced picture-taking together and everyone will know what to do and expect!

Engagement sessions are the time for you and your beloved to show your inner selves, your love for one another, and your favorite outfits in a relaxing and enjoyable environment. You are welcome to choose a location that speaks to you in a personal way or let us recommend a few of our favorite spots based on our experience. Some couples choose that special spot where he proposed, others their favorite restaurant, winery, or flower field. We can’t wait to get you in front of the lens and bring out what makes you a special couple!

Good to know:
• Engagement sessions typically last two hours
• Sessions include two outfit changes
• We recommend up to 2 locations to keep things simple
• Try wearing complementary colors rather than matching tones
• Try to avoid large logos or brand symbols on clothing
• Many couples like to use their engagement images for save-the-dates
• We are happy to accommodate special requests for themes and locations

Wedding Day Schedule
Because every couple is unique, every wedding is different. Approximately 30 days before the wedding, we'll meet to go over the wedding day schedule and create a photography timeline for the big day. On the big day, we will work hard to be sure no special moment is missed so that you can relax and enjoy yourself and take it all in. During the ceremony and reception, we work in the background to quietly capture each special moment. And during the family and bridal party portraits, we take a hands-on approach, directing everyone to get the portraits done in a timely manner. When we meet to make the timeline, we'll also discuss your portrait priorities.  For example, if you want to be sure to get lots of fun portraits with your bridal party, extra family portraits, we'll be sure to schedule for it.

Details
Detail shots are very important to the modern bride! During getting ready shots, we capture beautiful images of the dress, shoes, and bridal accessories. At the church and reception, we get all the details that make your day special: the flowers, the cake, the centerpieces, etc...

After the Wedding
After the wedding, we'll send you a sneak peek within a week. Then within 6 weeks, you will receive your finished images on your choice of a custom disk or a custom flash drive. If you have an album in your package, we ask that you give us your list of images within 60 days to expedite the album ordering process. If you have an album in your package, you'll be given more info on the album ordering process prior to your wedding.

Trash the Dress Sessions & Bridal Sessions
Wedding days, although beautiful, can become a bit rushed. So running off to a special location for shots in your dress is often just not possible. This is where Trash the Dress and Bridal Sessions come in handy. These sessions are held on a date after the wedding in a beautiful location. We take our time to capture beautiful, creative images. If the groom joins us as well, it's even better! We are able to create some romantic images. The term "Trash the Dress" is a little misleading, as no dresses are harmed during my sessions. When shooting at the beach, the saltwater and sand are not destructive to the dress, and my brides have had great success in cleaning their dresses by sending them to the dry cleaner after our sessions. Of course, there are no guarantees in life, so if your dress is a precious family heirloom, or if for any reason keeping the full integrity of your dress intact is important to you, you may want to forgo the Trash the Dress Session, just to be safe.
